How far is the Lodge from Disney World?

Lumiere’s Lodge is about a 10 minute drive to Animal Kingdom, the closest part of Disney World to Windsor Hills. Other parks will take just a few minutes more to drive to.

Do we need a car in Windsor Hills?

A car is definitely recommended – as most places in the U.S., things are quite spread out. There are no bus or train lines that service the area, however Uber and Lyft are available.

What about other places in Orlando?

Windsor Hills has a great location, not only is it the closest vacation resort to Disney World, but there is great access to major roads and highways so getting to Universal Studios, Seaworld and other great spots is fast and easy.

Is there anything to do if we don't leave Windsor Hills?

Besides the great pool, spa, and game room right inside Lumiere’s Lodge, Windsor Hills has a great Community Center with one of the largest pools in the area, a waterslide, game room, theater and much much more – even a convenience store right on site!
